Born and raised in Southern California, my creative practice is rooted in fresh, nature-inspired design and enhanced with inspiration fed from playful moments and romantic notions. I love discussing music, style, art and culture and analyzing their complex intersections. In my free time, I enjoy learning new things, cooking new recipes and exploring Los Angeles and beyond.
On an ongoing basis, I offer services ranging from social media strategy, content strategy, content production, brand consulting, social platform management and creative direction for clientele in various industries, including fashion & beauty, lifestyle, health & wellness and more.
On my personal blog ShyGirl-Diary aka SGD (MOOD 2015 - 2021; BLOG 2019 - 2021), I shared personal essays, reading reflections, curated graphics and visual lifestyle inspiration.
Throughout my time at this beauty service brand, I worked directly with the VP of Marketing to drive traffic, build brand awareness and manage our creative content efforts. In my areas of focus, I planned and created all content for lead generation and performance marketing including organic social media content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn), email campaigns, SMS campaigns and website blog content. In addition, I established and managed influencer relationships to execute strategic brand partnerships. As the brand scaled rapidly with new store openings, I concepted and created large scale window vinyls and additional print assets as needed for new and existing locations.
Over the course of 6 months at this creative production studio, I managed all our internal marketing efforts. In my areas of focus, I oversaw the production of garments for a branded clothing line, managed vendor relationships, executed ongoing gifting for key contacts and managed online orders. In addition, I coordinated PR efforts with key partners, planned social media content, managed website updates, produced email newsletter content and contributed to planning company events.
Over the course of 2+ years, I developed and curated the overall content direction, managed community engagement, reported on content and campaigns, and oversaw content creation for up to sixteen clients. Industries include hospitality, retail, food & beverage and homebuilding & home service. For clients in applicable industries, I established influencer relationships and acted as liaison between influencers, agents, managers and brands to execute strategic brand partnerships. In addition, I wrote compelling on-brand copy for both organic and paid social media content and crafted a branded monthly lifestyle newsletter focused on health, wellness and outdoor living.
Over the course of eight months, I strategized, developed, managed and reported on five clients’ social media efforts, specifically in the home building and interior design industries. In addition, I contributed to a variety of large agency efforts, specifically in design and brand positioning and messaging.
Throughout my one year, I gave clients tailored product recommendations and application tips and in addition, proactively researched rising trends in the beauty industry, tested out emerging beauty brands and studied the composition and formulas of various types of products.
Throughout my half a year, I developed social media content, managed community engagement and regularly reported on content for an organization dedicated to improving news literacy.
Over the course of three months, I established the brand’s social media presence and managed all branded content. I assisted with conception and production of content shoots, led a social ad campaign to increase engagement and generate sales and utilized social listening accounts to analyze performance.
Over the course of four months, I ideated and crafted nearly 60 pieces of engaging editorial content – including short-form and long-form print pieces – on business topics relevant to the publication’s core demographic. Throughout, I interviewed c-level executives for profiles, entrepreneur spotlights and digital pieces.
